FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Why should I become a certified first aid rescuer?
We know from experience that adults and children have accidents in the home and workplace every day – and many of those accidents result in injury. When you develop the knowledge and skills needed to treat an injured person you’ll feel prepared for any and every emergency.

Why Rapid First Aid?

When you enrol on a first aid course with Rapid First Aid we know that you have placed your trust in us. We’re dedicated to empowering you with the right knowledge and skills to deliver first aid when needed – and our programs will certify your skills on completion.
How are Rapid First Aid courses delivered to me?
Our programs can be delivered on site in your workplace or college environment or you can come to use – whichever meets your needs!
Will I receive my certificate card at the end of the course?
Rapid First Aid is an affiliate of the Red Cross, and pays yearly membership fees so that it is able to provide its successful candidates with a CPR card at the end of each CPR-HCP course. The CPR card is a valid proof of certification and is valid for a period of 3 years.
How long is my certificate valid for?
This depends on the type of certification, as well as the reason you are taking your certification course. Emergency and Standard First Aid are both valid with the Red Cross for a period of 3 years from the date of certification. CPR certifications are usually valid with Red Cross for a period of 1 years from the date of certification..However, it is up to your employer (ex. your pool manager, your school, or your professional licensing body) to decide when they would like you to renew.
